Simone Jarrett

Our newest associate, Simone Jarrett, graduated from the Norman Manley Law School at the University of the West Indies in 1999 and qualified to practice law in Jamaica and the Caribbean Commonwealth. Between 1999 to 2015, she practiced primarily in the Supreme Court of Jamaica, specializing in family law. Ms. Jarrett handled a heavy caseload, conducted numerous hearings and supervised the civil and family litigation departments. From 2013, Simone served as a senior legal consultant in the areas of civil and family law to a New York based law firm that also had a Jamaican office.

Simone was admitted to the New York bar in 2018. From 2019, Simone has been practicing immigration, general civil litigation and family law in New York. Simone represented clients in deportation proceedings, as well as in immigrations interviews before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Her family law experience includes divorce, child custody, support, property distribution, adoptions, special immigrant juvenile and family offense matters.
