We are happy to welcome Elizabeth Nakamura as the newest Associate in our firm.
Liz is a magna cum laude 2014 graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and was admitted to the New York State Bar in March 2015. She has served on, and been published in, the Arts and Entertainment Law Journal and is a member of the Order of the Coif.
Before coming to Fredman Baken & Novenstern, Liz was an intern with the Pro Bono Partnership in 2012, and a Heyman-ACCA In-House Counsel Legal Extern with the Finance and Risk Department of Thomson Reuters in 2013. She was also an Alexander Fellow, serving as an intern law clerk for District Judge Stanley R. Chesler at the District of New Jersey at Newark in 2013.
Liz received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Japanese Language & Literature from Wellesley College in 2010. When she is not practicing law, she is an avid equestrian, working primarily with off-the-track Thoroughbreds.
